Bafela Safarchan ( Stewed Apples ) Recipe

9 large apples
2 cups sugar
3 cups water
3 green cardamom seeds
1 sour lime
Directions
1. Peel, core and chop the fruit and sprinkle with the sour lime juice.
2. Place apples, sugar and water in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Add the cardamom seeds. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from the fire, cool and chill.
3. Serve with blancmange or cream.
