Bacon Bars Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup shredded sharp process
American cheese
6 slices bacon crisp-cooked and coarsely crumbled
2 cups packaged biscuit mix
3 tablespoons bacon drippings
Directions
Stir cheese and bacon into dry mix.
Make dough according to package directions for rich biscuits, substituting bacon drippings for salad oil.
Knead as directed for rolled biscuits.
Roll to 10x6 inches.
Cut in six 10 inch strips, 1inch wide; cut each in thirds crosswise, to make 18 bars.
Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 450° 10 minutes.
