Bacon Wrapped Scallops Recipe
Ingredients
| Dry vermouth | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Large sea scallops - 1 1/2 pounds, halved | ||
| Bacon Slices | 9 , halved | |
| Water chestnuts | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Green olives - pitted | ||
| Long wooden skewers | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat broiler.
MAKING
2. In a bowl combine vermouth and scallops and marinate one hour.
3. To assemble appetizers, wrap bacon around one piece each of scallops, water chestnuts and green olives.
4. Secure on wooden skewer and repeat with remaining ingredients.
5. Broil 6 to 7 inches from heat source, turning once, until bacon is crisply cooked.
SERVING
6. Serve Bacon Wrapped Scallops hot with sauce or garnish as desired.
