Bacon Wrapped Chicken Livers and Water Chestnuts Rumaki Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken livers | 1 , cleaned | |
| Water chestnuts | 1 | |
| Bacon Slices- 9nos, cut in half, crosswise | ||
| Soy sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Powdered ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 425° F.
2) Fold each piece of liver around a water chestnut.
3) Wrap a piece of bacon around the liver and chestnut, hold in with a toothpick.
4)Marinate with soy sauce mixed with ginger, for 1 hour.
5) Oil a baking sheet.
MAKING
6)Place on the baking sheet and bake in oven for 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
7)Replace the toothpicks with the fresh ones.
SERVING
8) Serve hot with chutney or Chinese duk sauce.
