Bacon Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients

 
2 tablespoons unsalted margarine or butter
 
2 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped
 
1/4 cup sliced green onions
 
8 slices ARMOURĀ® Lower Salt Bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
 
1 cup uncooked rice
 
1 teaspoon no salt added chicken flavor instant bouillon

Directions

Melt margarine in large skillet or saucepan over medium heat.
Add tomatoes and green onions; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Stir in 2 cups water and remaining ingredients.
Heat to a boil; reduce heat to low and cover.
Simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
Fluff rice with fork.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
