Ingredients
1 8-ounce package sliced bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 garlic clove, minced
4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups milk
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions
1. In 2-quart saucepan over medium-low heat, cook bacon until browned, about 10 minutes. With slotted spoon, remove bacon to paper towels to drain. Reserve 1/4 cup drippings; wipe saucepan clean.
2. In same saucepan over medium-low heat, in reserved bacon drippings, cook garlic until tender. Stir in flour; cook 1 minute. Stir in milk and remaining ingredients; cook, stirring, until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes (do not boil or mixture may curdle). Stir in bacon.
