Bacon Carbonara Style Recipe
Ingredients
| 225 g/8 oz Pasta spirals | ||
| 376 g/13 1/2 oz can Homepride | ||
| White Wine with Cream Cook-in-Sauce | ||
| 2 Small cloves of garlic | ||
| 10 Rashers short-back bacon | ||
| 75 g/3 oz Button mushrooms | ||
| 45 ml/3 tbsp Choppedparsley | ||
| black pepper | 1 | |
Directions
Cook the pasta spirals in plenty of boiling, salted water until tender.
Drain and keep warm.
Pour the White Wine with Cream Cook-in-Sauce into a saucepan.
Peel and crush the garlic and add it to the pan.
Bring to the boil slowly, stirring occasionally.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile remove the rind from the bacon and chop into small pieces.
Fry the bacon gently in its own fat until lightly browned and crisp.
Drain well and add to the sauce.
Slice the mushrooms and add them and the parsley to the sauce.
Cook over a gentle heat for 15 minutes.
Season and serve hot with a green salad.
