Bacon Burger Squares Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 8 | |
| Ground beef | 2 Pound | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted | ||
Directions
Cook bacon till almost done, but not crisp.
Cut bacon strips in half crosswise.
Pat ground beef to a 12x6-inch rectangle; cut into 8 squares.
Combine lemon juice and Worcestershire; brush over the beef patties.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Arrange squares in greased wire grill basket.
Place 2 half-slices of bacon crisscrossed atop each burger to form an "X".
Close basket.
Grill burgers over medium-hot coals, turning often, till desired doneness, about 20 minutes.
