Backpack Muesli Recipe
Ingredients
| Regular oats - 1 c., uncooked | ||
| Whole wheat cereal - 1 c. shredded , crushed | ||
| Raisins | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Coconut | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Apples | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Nuts or seeds - 1/4 c. | ||
| Nonfat dry milk powder - 2/3 c | ||
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1.In a plastic bag combine all the dry ingredients.
2. Let alone till evening.
3. Add in 3 cups of water and let soak covered overnight.
4.Heat and let boil, in the morning.
5. Additional dry milk can be added if desired.
SERVING
6. Serve during camping.
