Medium sized apples - 3, peeled and thinly sliced
 
Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
 
Ground nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
 
Bisquick® Gluten Free mix - 1/2 cup
 
Granulated sugar - 1/2 cup
 
Milk - 1/2 cup
 
Butter or margarine - 2 tablespoons, melted
 
Eggs - 3
 
Streusel:
 
Bisquick® Gluten Free mix - 1/3 cup
 
Nuts - 1/3 cup, chopped
 
Packed brown sugar - 1/4 cup
 
Firm butter or margarine - 3 tablespoons
 
Gluten–Free Snickerdoodles
 
Sugar - 1 1/4 cups
 
Butter - 1/4 cup, softened
 
Shortening - 1/4 cup
 
Bisquick® Gluten Free mix - 2 cups

Directions

Gluten-Free French Apple Pie

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
2. Spray 9-inch pie pan with cooking spray.

MAKING
3. In a bowl, mix thinly sliced apples, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
4. Fold this mixture into the pie pan.
5. In a bowl, combine Bisquick mix, sugar, milk, eggs and butter or margarine. Whisk it well.
6. Add it over the apples.
7. Make Streusal topping by mixing Bisquick Gluten Free mix, butter or margarine, packed brown sugar and chopped nuts. Use a fork to mix the ingredients till it is a crumbly texture.
8. Sprinkle the topping over the pie. Spread the topping evenly so that it covers the apples.
9. Bake the pie in an oven at 325°F for 45 to 50 minutes.

SERVING
10. Serve Gluten-Free French Apple Pie with ice-cream or some homemade whipped cream.

Gluten–Free Snickerdoodles
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

MAKING
2. In a large bowl, take Bisquick® Gluten Free mix, eggs, 1 cup sugar, softened butter and shortening. Form this mixture into dough.
3. Make one-inch balls from the dough.
4. In a bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.
5. Dip the ball into this cinnamon and sugar mix and place it on a cookie sheet. Each ball should be about two inches apart from each other.
6. Bake it at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
7. Remove from cookie sheet and let it cool on a cooking rack.

SERVING
7. Serve it as it is with tea.
