Avocados With Pickled Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients
| 1 pound small raw shrimp | ||
| White wine vinegar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup dry white table wine | ||
| 1 tablespoon each salt, sugar, and pickling spice | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Avocados | 3 Medium | |
Directions
Peel and devein the raw shrimp.
Put them in a saucepan with the vinegar, olive oil, wine, salt, sugar, pickling spice, and onion.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes, then allow to cool in the liquid.
Use as a filling for the avocados which have been halved and peeled.(These shrimp are also very good as appetizers, impaled on toothpicks, served with or without dunking sauce.)
