Ingredients

 
1 medium sized avocado peeled and halved
 
2 cups buttermilk
 
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
 
1 green onion chopped
 
1/4 pound small cooked shrimp or 1 can (7 1/2 ounces) minced clams drained
 
yogurt
 
chopped chives or chopped green onion

Directions

Place in a blender container the avocado, buttermilk, garlic salt, and onion.
Blend until smooth.
Turn into a jar, cover, and chill.
To serve, mix in shrimp or clams and pour into bowls or large bowled wine glasses.
Garnish with a dollop of yogurt and sprinkle with chives.
