Avocado-Crab Gelatin Recipe
The avocado gelatin is a cold jello salad made with avocados and lemon flavored jello. Combined with mayo, lemon juice and a dash of tabasco sauce, the avocado gelatin is chilled and best served on a bed of lettuce or salad greens.
Ingredients
| 4 pkg. lemon jell-0 | ||
| Hot water | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cold water | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tabasco sauce | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mayonnaise | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Avocados | 5 | |
Directions
Dissolve Jell-O in hot water.
Add cold water, Tabasco sauce, salt and lemon juice.
When cold, add sour cream, mayonnaise and avocados.
Beat with rotary beater until blended.
Chill in ring mold until congealed.
