 1 6-ounce package orange-pineapple-flavored gelatin
 Boiling water1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 16-ounce bottle grapefruit carbonated beverage, chilled
 2 medium avocados, halved, seeded, peeled, and sliced crosswise
 Grapefruit1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Lettuce

Directions

In large bowl dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Stir in grapefruit carbonated beverage.
Chill till partially set (consistency of unbeaten egg whites).
Fold in avocados and grapefruit.
Pour into 6 1/2-cup ring mold.
Chill for several hours or overnight or till firm.
Unmold onto lettuce-lined plate.
