Autumn Fruit In Spiced Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Raisins | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brandy | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
| 1 tablespoon reduced-calorie margarine | ||
| 1 1/3 cups chopped red cooking apple | ||
| Pear | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 3/4 cup unsweetened apple juice | ||
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 1/3 cups vanilla low-fat frozen yogurt | ||
Directions
Combine raisins and brandy in a bowl; set aside.
Coat a medium nonstick skillet with cooking spray; add margarine.
Place over medium-high heat until margarine melts.
Add apple and pear; saute 3 to 4 minutes or until tender.
Set aside.
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a medium saucepan.
Stir in apple juice and next 4 ingredients.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, until mixture comes to a boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; stir in raisin mixture and apple mixture.
Scoop 1/3 cup frozen yogurt into each individual dessert bowl, and top each with 1/2 cup apple mixture.
