Ingredients
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter,softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup raisins
1 cup currants
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Grated zest of 1 orange
Directions
Cream the butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs and a mixture of the sour cream and baking soda.
Sift together the flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Stir in the raisins, currants, pecans and orange zest.
Wrap in plastic wrap and chill.
Shape the dough into 3/4 inch balls and place on nonstick cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes.
