Ingredients

 2-3 lbs. smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
 2 Tbsp. water, or oil
 Bell peppers2 To taste, chopped
 Onions2 , sliced
 Mushrooms1/2 Pound, sliced
 Sauerkraut1 Quart, drained
 2 14 1/2-oz. cans diced tomatoes with green peppers
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
 Brown sugar2 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING
1) In a slow cooker, arrange the sausage and heat on low.
2) In a pan, heat oil and saute pepper, onion, mushroom.
3) In a slow cooker, combine all the ingredients, cover, and cook on low for 5-6 hours or 3-4 hours on high.

SERVING
4) Serve with mashed potatoes.
