Directions

Cut potatoes into round slices. Take a buttered dish and make alternate layers of sliced potato and onion rings.
For the cheese sauce: Take butter in a pan. When the butter melts add a cup of milk. Add salt and pepper. Stir. Add in some grated cheese. Stir till the cheese melts. Pour this cheese sauce in the baking dish with the layers of potato and onion rings. Sprinkle a layer of grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for an hour and 15 minutes.
