Atlantic City Taffy Recipe
Ingredients
| Dark corn syrup | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup strong black coffee | ||
| Baking Unsweetened Chocolate square | 2 | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a 2-quart glass measure combine first 4 ingredients.
Cook on HIGH for 12-18 minutes.
Add butter and vanilla; pour into 8-inch square baking dish; cool enough to "pull." Grease hands; pull taffy until elastic and light in color.
Cut into pieces; wrap in waxed paper or rainbow-colored cellophane; twist ends to close.
