Assam Tea Scones Recipe

Ingredients
Self raising flour 250 gms
Cold Assam tea 125 ml
Candied peel 125 gms
Butter 25 gms
Caster sugar 25 gms
Salt 1/4 tsp
Directions
Blend the flour, salt and sugar thoroughly in a bowl.
Mix the tea, butter and candied peel to the flour and knead into a soft dough.
Shape into a round on a greased and floured baking sheet.
Mark into 8 triangles with a knife and bake for 20 minutes at 375 F/190 C until crisp and golden and then break into triangles.
