Ingredients

 Olive oil1 Tablespoon
 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Bread crumbs2 Tablespoon, toasted
 1 heaping teaspoon toasted poppy seeds
 Juice of one lemon
 12 to sixteen hot cooked asparagus spears
 Salt and cayenne pepper to taste
 Salt and cayenne pepper to taste

Directions

Heat the oil and butter in a small skillet.
Add the bread crumbs and poppy seeds.
Stir well and cook slowly two to three minutes.
Add the lemon juice and seasonings, stir and pour over hot asparagus.
