Sauteed Asparagus Ham, Garlic And Lemon Recipe Video
Chef John from ‘Food wishes’ cooks up a lovely asparagus and ham with garlic and lemon in this asparagus and ham recipe video. The asparagus with ham is flavorful, green and light. If I had a farm, this is how I'd eat asparagus. I would plant rows and rows of garlic. I would never have to buy garlic, or worry about being out. I would raise hogs for so many reasons, not the least of which would be to cure my own ham. I would plant a lemon tree in just the right spot, so the warm summer breeze carried the blossom's sweet scent through the kitchen window.
Ingredients
Fresh asparagus - 1 pound
Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Prosciutto ham - 2 ounces, thinly sliced
Lemon - 1, halved
Salt - to taste (optional)
Fresh ground pepper - to taste (optional)

1) Place a saute pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
2) Add the ham and fry it till it is crisp. This usually takes about 4 minutes.
