Asparagus With Ham Recipe
Ingredients
Fresh asparagus - 1 bunch
Butter - 3 tbsp.
Flour - 3 tbsp.
Milk - 1 1/2 c.
Deviled ham - 1 med. can
Toast - 6 slices
Paprika - 1/8 tsp.
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Boil 1 cup water with salt.
MAKING
2) In the boiling water, add the asparagus and cook till crisp-tender. Drain.
3) In a skillet, heat butter and blend in flour.
4) Slowly add in the milk, while stirring and allow the mix to thicken.
5) Stir in the ham.
6) Arrange the asparagus on toast and pour the ham mix over.
7) Sprinkle with paprika.
