Sugar - 1 tsp.
Salt - 1 1/2 tsp.
Cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp.
Paprika - 1/4 tsp.
Several drops of garlic juice
Vinegar - 1/3 c.
Salad oil - 1 c.
Green onion -3 tbsp., chopped
Sweet pickle relish - 4 tbsp.
Chopped parsley - 2 tbsp.
Chopped green pepper - 4 tbsp.
Chopped pimento - 2 tbsp.
Capers - 1 tbsp.
Asparagus - 2 Ige. cans, drained
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, combine together add sugar, salt, cayenne pepper, paprika, and garlic juice.
2) Gradually add in the vinegar and salad oil, beating thoroughly.
3) In the oil mix, add onion, relish, parsley, green pepper, pimento and capers.
4) Pour the sauce over the asparagus.
5) Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
SERVING
6) Serve chilled.
