Asparagus-Ham Rolls Recipe
First of all let me thank my neighbor for sharing this excellent Asparagus-ham Rolls recipe. I tried it the other day and was totally bowled over! This is a great Side Dish.

Ingredients
Asparagus spears - 2 cans
Ham - 6 thin slices
Butter - 4 tbsp.
Flour - 4 tbsp.
Salt - 1/4 tsp.
Pepper to taste
Milk - 2 c.
Cheese - 1/2 lb., grated
Toast - 6 slices
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Lightly grease a baking sheet.
MAKING
2) Drain asparagus spears.
3) Equally divide among the ham slices.
4) Wrap the ham around the asparagus. Place the rolls, seam-side down, on lightly greased baking sheet.
5) Place in the oven and bake at 325 degrees till well heated.
6) In a pot, add butter and heat.
7) Add in the flour, salt, pepper, and milk.
8) While stirring, simmer till the sauce is thickened.
9) Stir in the cheese.
10) Place the asparagus rolls on toast.
11) Top with cheese sauce.
SERVING
12) Serve immediately.
