Recipe Story

There are many, many natural organic aphrodisiacs, or so I learn. Who would have thought that humble asparagus could be a potent aphrodisiac? Or is there anything humble at all about the asparagus, especially when it has such an obvious phallic shape? Well, that is something worthy of debate. This vegetable is rich in in potassium, Folic acid and vitamin E, it can stimulate sex hormones as well as enhance your general well-being. Alrightee then! And that is how I came across this recipe Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese.

Ingredients

 Asparagus - 1 pound, medium-sized ones
 Parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon, grated
 Extra virgin olive oil2 Tablespoon
 Lemon zest1 Teaspoon
 Salt To Taste
 Black pepper1 To taste

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Wash and clean asparagus. Using a knife, diagonally slice into them into small pieces, about 2 inches each.

MAKING
2. In a medium saucepan (only half full), boil water.
3. Add in asparagus slices into the boiling water and immediately reduce to a simmer.
4. Take the pan away from heat after 2 minutes, and drain the water.

SERVING
5. In a large serving bowl, mix asparagus with the other ingredients. Serve immediately. And don't forget to add the 'love'. ;)
