Asparagus Tip Consomme Recipe
Ingredients
6-8 cups well-flavored chicken stock
2 cups thin asparagus tips
Salt and fresh pepper to taste
2 tablespoons chopped chervil (or less)
Directions
Bring stock to boil in saucepan.
Add asparagus, salt, pepper, and chervil and return to a boil.
Turn heat to a simmer.
Cook 5 minutes; asparagus should still be crunchy
