Asparagus In Prosciutto Recipe
Ingredients
| 250 g / 8 oz prosciutto slices | ||
| Basil leaves | 4 | |
| Asparagus spears | 500 Gram | |
| 1/3 cup / 90 mL / 3 fl oz lemon juice | ||

| Basil dipping sauce | ||
| 3/4 cup/ 185 mL / 6 fl oz whole | ||
| Egg mayonnaise | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Basil | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
1. Preheat barbecue to a high heat.
2. Top each prosciutto slice with a basil leaf and an asparagus spear. Wrap prosciutto around asparagus to enclose.
3. Brush asparagus parcels with lemon juice and sprinkle with black pepper to taste. Place asparagus parcels on oiled barbecue and cook, turning frequently, until prosciutto is crisp and asparagus is tender.
4. To make dipping sauce, place mayonnaise, lemon juice and chopped basil in a bowl and mix to combine. Serve with asparagus parcels.
