Asparagus Divan Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds cooked Buttered Asparagus Tips | ||
| 6 slices hot buttered white toast | ||
| 2 tablespoons sweet Madeira or sherry | ||
| 2 cups hot Cheese Sauce | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
Directions
GETTING READY
(1) Preheat broiler.
MAKING
(2) In a shallow roasting pan, arrange the toasts and top with hot asparagus tips
(3) Stir wine into sauce and pour to coat the asparagus.
(4) Sprinkle Parmesan.
(5) Place pan under the broiler 4-inches from the heat and gratinate for 3-4 minutes until sauce bubbly and cheese has melted.

(6) Serve toasts hot.
