Asheville Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 can cream of tomato soup | ||
| 2 envelopes gelatin | ||
| Cold water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cream cheese package | 2 | |
| 1 small onion, chopped fine | ||
| Celery | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 medium green pepper, chopped fine | ||
| Mayonnaise | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Bring soup to boiling point.
Add gelatin that has been softened in 1 cup of cold water.
Pour hot mixture over mashed cream cheese.
Add onion, celery and pepper.
Mix together well and add mayonnaise.
Pour into large ring mold or 16 small molds.
Serves 16.
