Ingredients

 
Unflavored gelatin - 1 1/2 env.
 
Beef consomme -2 cans
 
Worcestershire sauce -1 tsp. (scant)
 
Juice of 1 lemon
 
Salt to taste
 
Artichoke hearts -1 can

Directions

MAKING
1) In 1/4 cup cold water, add the gelatin and soften.
2) In a saucepan, heat the consomme.
3) Add the gelatin and stir till dissolved.
4) Cool.
5) Add in the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and salt.
6) Refrigerate till the mix forms the consistency of an unbeaten egg white.
7) Halve the artichoke hearts and fold into the gelatin mix.
8) Turn into ring mold or individual molds and refrigerate till firm.

SERVING
9) Arrange lettuce leaves on a serving platter.
10) Place the artichokes over.
11) Top with homemade mayonnaise and serve.
