Ingredients
8 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted, divided
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
2 fresh artichokes (8 oz. ea.)
1 lemon, thinly sliced and halved
1/4 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
Directions
Combine 6 tablespoons butter with garlic; set aside.
Cut stem off artichoke; trim tips of leaves; then rinse.
Place lemon in between leaves; arrange artichokes in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Pour butter mixture over artichokes.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Cook at HIGH 9 to 11 minutes.
Combine 2 tablespoons butter with remaining ingredients.
Sprinkle over cooked artichokes.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
