Artichoke Heart Squares Recipe
Ingredients
2-6 ounce tins artichoke hearts, packed in oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
4 eggs
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon oregano
few grains cayenne
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 pound Cheddar cheese, grated
2 tablespoons parsley
Directions
Drain one of the jars of artichokes.
Drain second jar into a frying pan, saute onion and garlic.
Take all artichokes, onion and garlic and put into a processor; mix well.
Press into 3 inch x 8 inch greased pan.
Bake at 325 degree F for 30 to 35 minutes.
Allow to stand for 5 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
