Artichoke Hearts Au Gratin Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 9-ounce package frozen artichoke hearts | ||
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Skim milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 4 1/2-ounce jar sliced mushrooms, drained | ||
| 2 green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons). | ||
| Processed cheese slice | 1 | |
| 4 rich round crackers, crushed (2 tablespoons) | ||
| Dash paprika | ||
Directions
Cook artichoke hearts according to package directions.
Drain well.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan stir together cornstarch, garlic powder, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
Stir in milk, mushrooms, and green onions.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Add cheese, stirring to melt.
Gently stir the cooked and drained artichoke hearts into the saucepan.
Transfer artichoke heart mixture to a serving dish.
Sprinkle with crushed crackers and paprika.
