Artichoke Cheese Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| Artichoke hearts | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Rye bread slice | 6 , toasted | |
| 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing | ||
| Shredded Swiss cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled, or 2 tablespoons imitation bacon bits | ||
Directions
Arrange artichokes on toast.
Mix mayonnaise, cheese and bacon; spread over artichokes to edges of toast.
Set oven control to broil and/or 550°.
Broil with tops about 5 inches from heat until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2 minutes.
Cut each sandwich into thirds.
Garnish with cherry tomatoes and pitted ripe olives if desired.
