Ginger Julep Cocktail Recipe Video
Anthony with Ashley presents the ginger infused mint julep in honor of the Kentucky Derby. Ginger with mint is a truly wonderful combination, if you haven't tried it,do try it. You are sure to fall in love with it.
Ingredients
| Mint leaves | 6 | |
| Ginger syrup | 1⁄2 Ounce | |
| Ice | 1 | |
| Kentucky bourbon | 1 1⁄2 Ounce | |
| Soda water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
MAKING
1 In an old fashioned glass put the mint leaves.
2 Add in the ginger simple syrup.
3 Using a pestle, crush the leaves on the bottom of the glass.
4 Put the ice cubes in the glass and pour Kentucky bourbon over it.
5 Top the glass with soda water.
6 Transfer the drink to a cocktail shaker and shake to blend the ingredients.
7 Return the drink to the glass.
SERVING
8 Place a cocktail stir in the glass and serve.

This ginger julep seems to be a healthy drink...as tanya says ginger and mint are healthy ingredients and easily available in grocery stores! I'd like to try this in my weekend party :))
