Armenian Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 cup fine noodles
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 cups chopped cooked lamb or beef
3/4 Cup long grain rice
1/2 cup raisins
1 tablespoon instant beef bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon dried mint, crushed
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
Directions
In skillet brown uncooked noodles in hot oil till golden.
Stir in meat, uncooked rice, raisins, bouillon granules, mint, 3 cups water, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Bring to boiling; turn into 2-quart casserole.
Bake, covered, at 325°till liquid is absorbed, 30 to 40 minutes; stir once after 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with almonds.
