Argentine Beef Stew Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 2 , chopped | |
| 1 large red pepper, pith and seeds removed and diced | ||
| 1 1/2 lb. chuck steak, cut into 1/2 inch cubes | ||
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Beef Stock | 5 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Paprika | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Bacon slices | 4 , diced | |
| 8 oz. red or garlic sausage, sliced | ||
| 3/4 cup dried lima beans, soaked overnight and drained | ||
| 1 x 7 1/2 oz. can corn, drained | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Sauté the onions, red pepper and meat in the oil till the meat cubes attain brown color.
2) Pour the stock, paprika, bacon, sausage, beans, salt and pepper to this.
3) Cover firmly and boil gently for about 2 hours.
4) Chill.
FINALIZING
5) Add sweet-corn and simmer for 30 minutes before serving.
SERVING
6) Serve hot or warm.
