Apricot Whole Wheat Bread Recipe
The apricot whole wheat bread is a fruity and nutty bread baked with honey and milk. Flavored with nutmeg and cinnamon ,the apricot whole wheat bread is baked with whole bread flour and is delcious and filling.
Ingredients
| Whole wheat flour | 3 Cup (48 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs) | |
| Honey | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Slightly beaten egg | 1 | |
| Salad oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Chopped dried california apricots | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chopped walnuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
In med.bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
Combine milk, honey,egg and oil; pour over, dry ingredients.
Stir just enough, to dampen flour.
Gently fold in apricots and walnuts.
Pour into greased 9x3 inch loaf pan.
Bake in 350 degreess F oven 60 - 70 minutes or until done.
Remove from oven; let stand on rack about 10 minutes Remove from pan.
Store overnight for easiest slicing.
