Apricot-Walnut Stuffing Recipe
Ingredients
1 medium-size onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
1 envelope instant chicken broth OR
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/3 cup water
6 slices white bread cubed (about 3 cups)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
In a large frying pan, saute onion in butter or margarine until soft; stir in apricots, chicken broth or bouillon cube, and water.
Heat to boiling, crushing bouillon cube if used; remove from heat.
Add cubed bread and walnuts; toss until evenly moist.
