Apricot Strata Recipe
Ingredients
| 16 Sweet Dessert Manicott | ||
| 3/4 cup apricot-pineapple preserves | ||
| Walnuts | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Vanilla Ice Cream scoop | 8 | |
| Whipped cream for garnish | ||
| 4 maraschino cherries, cut in half, for garnish | ||
Directions
Spread each Sweet Dessert Manicotti with 1 teaspoon preserves.
On a large platter or serving tray, place 8 manicotti, preserve-side up.
Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon chopped walnuts.
Place remaining 8 manicotti over nuts, preserve-side up.
Top each with 1 scoop of ice cream.
Pipe whipped cream around the scoops of ice cream.
Sprinkle each with an additional 1 teaspoon chopped walnuts.
Garnish with half a maraschino cherry.
Makes 8 servings.
