Apricot or Prune Whip Recipe
Ingredients
| Sweetened apricot or prune pulp- 1 1/2 cups | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg whites | 3 | |
| Chopped nuts- as required | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 275F degrees
MAKING
2.In a bowl, mix pulp, lemon juice and salt together
3.In another bowl, beat sugar into egg whites, and then fold in fruit mixture
4.If desired this mixture may be piled lightly into a buttered baking dish and baked at 275° F.30 to 45 minutes.
SERVING
5.Serve garnished with chopped nuts
