4 oz. brown sugar
2 cups brown breadcrumbs
2 oz. butter
2 tblspns, syrup or honey
Directions
Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and breadcrumbs.
Fill the dish with alternate layers of halved, stoned apricots and breadcrumbs, sprinkling each layer with sugar.
Finish with a layer of crumbs, dot with butter, pour the syrup over, cover with greased paper and bake in a moder- ate oven until the apricots are soft.
