Ingredients

 
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
 
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
 
3/4 cup apricot preserves
 
2 eggs
 
1 teaspoon vanilla
 
1 3/4 cups Pillsbury's Best All Purpose or Unbleached Flour
 
1 teaspoon baking powder
 
1/2 teaspoon soda
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
3/4 cup mashed ripe banana
 
1/2 cup chopped nuts
 
Powdered sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F Grease (not oil) and flour 15x10 inch jelly roll pan.
In mixing bowl, blend butter and brown sugar.
Beat in preserves, eggs and vanilla.
(Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.) Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spread in prepared pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
