Ingredients

 Dried apricots12 Ounce
 Boiling water
 1 small orange, ground, including peel
 1 small lemon, ground, including peel
 Sugar
 Nuts1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Ground cinnamon1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Golden Raisins1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cake crumbs1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Flaked coconut1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Melted butter or margarine
 Strudel Dough

Directions

Cover apricots with boiling water and soak for several hours or overnight.
Drain.
Chop apricots fine and add half of orange and lemon and 3/4 cup sugar.
Mix well.
In another bowl, mix remaining orange and lemon, nuts, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, raisins, crumbs, coconut, and 1 tablespoon butter.
Roll Strudel Dough as directed in recipe.
Spread with nut mixture.
Spoon a little butter evenly over top.
Spread with apricot mixture and roll up.
Slice into 1-inch pieces, but do not cut completely through.
Sprinkle with a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and remaining cinnamon.
Bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for about 1 hour.
Remove from pan and complete slicing while still warm.
