Apricot And Honey Sauce Recipe
This is a kick ass recipe for Apricot Sauce which will knockout anyone who eats it. Excuse my French please. I prepare this yum Apricot Sauce as a Dessert every month or even more often. In my estimation, if one calls oneself a good cook, one ought to have a personal recipe of Apricot Sauce, just like I do.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh or unsweetened cannedn apricot puree (peaches or half peaches and half apricots may be substituted)
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
Directions
In a medium-size saucepan, combine puree and honey.
Dissolve cornstarch in water, and add to puree mixture.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
Stir in lemon extract.
Put through medium-fine strainer.
Chill.
