Apricot Jam Red Jam or Marmalade Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Homemade apricot, or red, jam, or marmalade -2 rounded tablespoons | ||
| Water | 7 1/2 | |
| Lemon, rind strip | 2 | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Arrowroot | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, add jam, water, lemon rind and sugar and while stirring, gently heat till the mix boils.
2) Check flavour and accordingly add a little more jam or marmalade.
3) Continue to simmer the mix for 5-6 minutes.
4) Discard the lemon rind and add the arrowroot to thicken, if required.
SERVING
5) Serve over tarts and flans.
