Apricot & Ginger Chicken Recipe
Apricot & Ginger Chicken is an excellent recipe. My mom who tasted this when she was at home, just couldn't stop raving this Apricot & Ginger Chicken dish. Try it!
Ingredients
1 cup (240 ml) Apricot Nectar
2 tbs (30 ml) honey
1/2 cup (120 ml) soy sauce
2 tbs (30 ml) fresh ground ginger
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp (5 ml) chile oil, optional
3 lbs (1.4 kg) chicken, cut up
Directions
Mix first 6 ingredients together.
Cover chicken with half of the marinade and marinate 2 hours or longer.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake chicken, with half the marinade, uncovered in an ovenproof dish.
Bring the other half of the marinade to a boil and simmer until it thickens.
Use this to baste chicken.
Bake until done, basting frequently.
