Apricot Dessert Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 21-ounce can apricot pie filling
1 11-ounce can mandarin orange sections with pineapple tidbits or mandarin orange sections, drained
1 package (6) refrigerated biscuits
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°.
In saucepan melt butter.
Remove 2 tablespoons; set aside.
Stir pie filling and drained fruit into butter in saucepan.
Bring to boiling, stirring often.
Separate dough into 6 biscuits; cut each into 3 pieces.
Pour hot filling into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Dip biscuit pieces into remaining butter; arrange atop fruit.
Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over biscuits.
Bake in 400° oven 15 to 20 minutes.
