Apricot Conserve Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb. dried apricots
5 pints water
5 lbs. sugar
1 or. shelled blanched almonds
1 teaspoon essence of almond
Juice of 1 lemon
Directions
Let apricots soak in 5 pints water for 24 hours.
Add sugar and lemon juice and boil until thick.
